Joshua Daranijo is a Lawyer and Chartered Arbitrator. He also holds a certificate in Human & Social Capital Management from the Wharton School; University of Pennsylvania and another in Marketing from the Wharton School. Joshua’s educational background also includes a certificate in Investment & Finance in Emerging Markets and Developing Economies from the World Bank.
Joshua has acquired vast legal and work experience from organizations such as Unilever, Business Law Academy, Ojofin Consulting, Adeniyi Farinto and Co. Until founding Allen & Brooks, Joshua led the tech-novation team at a start-up advisory firm. Joshua’s experience spans the Real Estate, Agribusiness and Technology sectors.
His notable transactions include leading an advisory team on the set up, development and implementation of Nigeria’s first digital invoice factoring marketplace through its website and mobile app platform by mapping out the full legal and contractual structure for the project. He was also a member of an advisory team on a 10 million dollars acquisition of an industry leader in the manufacture, adoption and processing of secondary flexible packaging products. He was a member of advisory team on the acquisition of part-interest in a leading wholesale club enterprise in Nigeria. He has also been on an advisory team that advised a Nigerian Based Conglomerate on the acquisition of 70% equity interest in one of the leading Nigerian Oil and Gas Companies operating in the Downstream Sector of the Industry.
